My friend Ellie invited me over to witness her son Easton’s smash cake session. She has such a CUTE set up all prepared in her garage for the event. I met Ellie last year after I got to do a lifestyle session with Easton a few weeks after he was born, so I was so excited to get to see him smash his first birthday cake!

Yeah for Cake Smashing! These sessions are always SO much fun. The weather started acting up on us a bit during the shoot and we felt a few sprinkles, but little Av just kept keeping on top of that cake. If you watch the video below about halfway through we think she got a little sugar rush and was dancing around to the tunes off her mom’s iPhone. It was simply adorable!!
